Music and Joy
This was a photo shoot I simply enjoyed and a lesson to be learned from. I met at Nellie at church and she was in need of some updated head shots and portraits. Previously she didn't seem to have any presentable shots and wanted to start fresh- so we met for a photo session.
This is an example of location working in your favor no matter where you are. This place was a simple shopping center just next door to our church that I decided to use for our shoot. It's an everyday place, nothing fancy, however it created elements that made for a great setting! The lush mature trees offered us shade and cooler temperatures while the sunlight was strong and abundant. We had a great time and even came away with some shots she hadn't expected to be good! With good light and some ideas, anything is possible and regular locations for photos become great locations!
